Ingredients:

  • 2 cans Fayrouz pineapple
  • 2 whole chicken (1300 gm)
  • 5 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cloves
  • Pinch of thyme
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Place olive oil, garlic, thyme, cumin, cloves in a pan.
  2. Add in tomato juice & stir well over medium heat.
  3. Add in the tomato paste, salt, pepper & Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Let the mix cook for 15 mins.
  4. Add in 4 tablespoons of Fayrouz pineapple and stir in chicken after rubbing it well with the mix.
  5. Stuff the chicken with onions, tomatoes, olive oil, salt & pepper.
  6. Heat Fayrouz + chilli peppers in a pan. Let simmer for 10 mins, then remove pepper.
  7. Add Fayrouz mix to the chicken and place in oven for 1 hr 1/5 mins at 180 ° C.
  8. Serve with mashed potatoes or French fries.
